ICICI Venture to invest in Housing Sector
ICICI Venture’s Vice-President for Real Estate Mr. Sanjay Dasgupta said that his company plans to invest close to Rs. 1000 Crore in the housing sector. He went further to say that this fund would be raised from High Networth Individuals (HNI) and that the fund would be used to invest in mid-housing segment in the top six cities of India.

ICICI Venture, a subsidiary of ICICI Bank, is India’s one of the largest private equity firm with fund under it crossing over $2 Billions. The companies the private equity fund has built includes in such diverse sectors as IT, Media, Energy, Textiles, Real Estate etc.
